How to Replace the Brake Disc and Pads on a Toyota Corolla

Let’s focus on removing a front brake disc on a Toyota Corolla. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Undo the nuts with a telescopic spanner or air impact drill and remove the wheel. Next, start unscrewing the bolts of the brake caliper to detach it from the bracket. Use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads, remove the caliper bracket, and then unscrew the bolts on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to remove it from the wheel hub. Fit the new brake disc with all the associated bolts, ensuring to clean the parts of dirt and rust. Tighten the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then refit the brake caliper, remembering to tighten all the bolts securely. Before fitting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and then tighten the bolt. Finally, refit the wheel with the associated nuts.
