To reset the "Service" light on a Toyota Prius, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Use the buttons on the steering wheel to navigate the onboard computer menu, finding the "Settings" option.

Once in this section, scroll to the maintenance option or "Maintenance Reset". Here, select the reset option and follow the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to confirm the reset, and once approved, the system will update the data, turning off the "Service" light.
