In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the diesel filter in the Toyota Hilux pick-up, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure the engine is sufficiently cold, then open the hood and locate the filter on the driver's side. Disconnect the sensor connector, disconnect both tubes by releasing the respective clips, and unscrew the large outer ring. At this point, all that's left to do is to open the cap, remove the old filter, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything by simply following the reverse procedure.
