How do you turn off the T-BELT light on a 1997 Toyota Hilux?

To turn off the T-BELT light, you need to use the button located inside the display, near the dashboard. First, turn on the car, but do not start the engine. Then, find the "T-BELT" button that should be visible in the dashboard area or near the display. Hold down the button for about 5 seconds. You should see the light turn off after a while. This process is used to reset the timing belt change counter. If the light does not turn off, there may be another problem or perhaps the button was not pressed long enough. If you do not feel comfortable doing this simple maneuver on your own, contact an expert.
