How to clean the MAP sensor of the Toyota Aygo

In this video we will see how to clean the MAP sensor of the Toyota Aygo: this same engine is used on several small cars, so the same procedure is valid for the Peugeot 107, Citroen C1 and Toyota Yaris. It is advisable to change the MAP sensor every time we change the engine air filter, for which we must still remove the airbox. The readings of the MAP sensor are used to calculate the airflow. We will need a 10 mm socket mounted on a ratchet; we will have to remove the two screws on the side, being careful to unscrew the right ones, as it is very easy to make a mistake with the two larger ones on the side. Let's swing it and remove it, pulling out the connector. If we do proper maintenance, however, the sensor should be clean enough. Otherwise, clean it with a carburetor or brake cleaner and then let it dry thoroughly; then just put everything back in place following the opposite direction.
