To replace the battery of a Toyota RAV4 key, start by identifying the type of key you have: most models come with a key with a built-in remote control. You can use a flathead screwdriver or any object with a similar shape, and insert it into the slot to open the remote control. Once you have opened the key, you will find the battery inside. Remove the old battery and insert the new one, making sure that the positive pole is at the bottom and the negative pole is facing upwards. Press on both halves of the remote control until you hear a click.
