How to Remove the Fuel Pump Float on a Toyota Avensis

To remove the fuel float pump on a Toyota Avensis, start by disconnecting the battery cables. Then, remove the rear seat from the car: you will find various wiring and a metal piece with screws, which you need to dismantle. Unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap and remove it. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper or cloth, then use a suitable spanner to unscrew the large bolt around the pump. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation pipes. Extract the fuel float pump.
