In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the high-pressure fuel pump in the Toyota Avensis, a very simple and fast operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we open the hood and remove the plastic cover. Next, we locate the pump, which is located on the left side of the engine, and disconnect all the indicated cables and hoses. At this point, we unscrew the pump's fixing nuts using a wrench, separate it from the engine, and install the replacement, following the exact reverse procedure.

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple.
