In this tutorial, see how to replace the high-pressure fuel pump in a Toyota Avensis, a very simple and quick operation. First, wait for the engine to cool down sufficiently, then open the bonnet and remove the plastic cover.

Next, locate the pump on the left side of the engine and disconnect all the cables and pipes indicated. Now, unscrew the pump's fastening nuts using a spanner, separate it from the engine, and fit the replacement part by following the reverse procedure.
