How to Remove the Battery on a Toyota Avensis

Model: Toyota Avensis T270, MK 3 - Years 2009-2018

Replace the damaged battery of a Toyota Avensis. Open the front bonnet of the car (the battery is located in the engine compartment) and remove the plastic cover (detach the rivets). Using a socket spanner, undo the securing bolts of the battery terminals (remove the two opposite poles) and disconnect them. Unscrew the battery securing screws, remove the old battery, and prepare to install a new unit in the engine compartment. Position the new battery and reconnect the previously disconnected terminals. Tighten the battery securing screws. Cover the battery with the plastic cover.
