The CVT (Continuos Variable Transmission) K111 installed on the latest generation Yaris is considered one of the most reliable and long-lasting on the market, but like all mechanical components it can have problems, and the main cause is almost always old or contaminated transmission fluid. Even aggressive driving with sudden and continuous accelerations puts a lot of stress on the metal belt and pulleys, accelerating their wear. The CVT fluid is very sensitive to heat, so intense use without adequate cooling (e.g. towing, long uphill climbs with a full load) can quickly degrade the fluid and damage internal components. To prevent problems, we regularly replace the fluid, drive avoiding sudden accelerations and keep abnormal noises under control. The CVT is a robust transmission, but its Achilles' heel is the fluid: preventive maintenance and conscious driving are the key to making it last a long time.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Light on the Opel Grandland X

While driving, if you notice the tyre pressure warning light coming on, first check the actual inflation pressure of the tyres and, if necessary, restore the pressures recommended by the manufacturer.
