How to Remove the Fuel Pump Assembly Installed on a Toyota Yaris

Here’s how to remove the fuel pump assembly installed on a Toyota Yaris. First, disconnect the battery cables, then remove the rear seats of the car. You will find the wiring and a plastic or metal piece with screws that need to be removed. Using a socket spanner, undo the securing screws of the metal cover and remove it from its position. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper or cloth, then, using a socket spanner, undo the securing bolts located on the sides. Finally, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses.
