What does it mean when the "T-belt" light comes on in a Toyota?

When the "T-belt" light on the instrument panel of a Toyota vehicle comes on, it means that the time is approaching for the maintenance interval of the engine's timing belt; the onboard computer records the mileage and signals that it is time to change the belt. Of course, this warning may also appear even if the belt has been changed according to the time interval. In this case, we simply need to reset the light using the button located under the speedometer. The timing belt is a crucial component; if it breaks while we are driving, it will cause serious damage to the engine.
