When the "T-belt" light on the instrument panel of a Toyota vehicle comes on, it means that the time is approaching for the maintenance interval of the engine's timing belt; the onboard computer records the mileage and signals that it is time to change the belt.

Of course, this warning may also appear even if the belt has been changed according to the time interval.
