How to Disable the Seatbelt Alarm in the Toyota Hi Lux

Before discovering how to properly disable the seatbelt alarm in the Toyota Hi Lux, remember that this operation should only be performed when necessary, such as for maintenance or replacement of the seatbelts. First, insert the key and turn on the vehicle's electrical system, making sure not to start the engine and especially not to wear the seatbelt. Then, press the button located below the speedometer multiple times until you see "ODO" on the mini display. At this point, turn off the electrical system. Partially insert the seatbelt into the latch system. Turn the electrical system back on while simultaneously holding down the same button used earlier. Finally, release it as soon as you hear a beep. To reactivate the alarm, simply press the button again.
