Let's see how to program a remote control for a Toyota Celica 2000/2005: open the driver's door and make sure all doors are unlocked, and have all the remotes you want to program within reach. Insert and remove the ignition key from the ignition switch, without starting the engine, twice. After the second removal of the key, close and open the driver's door twice. Insert the key into the ignition for the third time and leave it in. Close the driver's door. Turn on the ignition and then immediately turn it off, then remove it from the ignition. You will hear a cycle of locking/unlocking of the locks, confirming that the vehicle is in programming mode. At this point, press the lock and unlock buttons on the first remote for 2 seconds. Release the buttons, then briefly press the "lock" button. At this point, the locks should perform a new cycle of locking/unlocking. To exit programming mode, simply open the driver's door.
