How to Clean the Engine Using Sea Foam

This tutorial explains how to use Sea Foam to clean the engine of a Toyota Celica. Firstly, note that this is a fairly aggressive additive used to eliminate unwanted build-up and deposits inside the engine or fuel system. Before starting, it is advisable to warm up the engine for a few minutes. Then locate the vacuum line, which is the rubber tube that allows the engine's energy to perform various functions, in addition to its primary role of moving the vehicle. Use a coin as a stop to keep the engine revving during the treatment to prevent it from stalling. At this point, insert the tube (vacuum line) into a quarter of a litre of additive, allowing it to be drawn in slowly. Once fully drawn in, wait about 5-10 minutes before proceeding to the next step. Open the engine cap and pour in another quarter of Sea Foam. Close the engine cap and the bonnet. Use the last quarter of a litre of Sea Foam by pouring it into the tank. Now start the car and don’t worry if the exhaust noise is different than usual: the engine is being cleaned!
