Cleaning the Throttle Body Without Removing It

If there are fuel delivery issues with fluctuations in engine RPM, it is necessary to clean the throttle adjustment system. The first step is to unscrew the air hose clamp. Once the hose is removed, you can see the dirt on the regulator. It is possible to clean the regulator without removing the entire assembly by simply using a special spray. Initially, clean the entrance of the regulator with a cloth soaked in the spray without touching the throttle. Start the vehicle and while the engine is running, spray the cleaner into the intake without overdoing it, using small bursts. Ensure that no foreign objects are drawn in during this operation. If the throttle is not touched, calibration is not necessary. Refit the hose.
