How to reset the service light on the Toyota Avensis T270

Model: Toyota Avensis T270, MK 3 - Years 2009-2018

Let's see how to reset the service light for a Toyota Avensis T270: turn on the dashboard, and we will see the message "oil maintenance required soon" on the display. Turn off the dashboard and locate the trip reset button located under the odometer. Press and hold it, while turning the key to turn on the dashboard again. Continue to hold the button, we will see a series of dashes (----) on the display starting a countdown. When it reaches "0000" we can release the button. Turn off the dashboard and then turn it back on for verification. The oil light will have disappeared.
