How to Reset the Toyota Hybrid System

In this video, we will see how to reset the Toyota hybrid system: first, disconnect the 12-volt battery, which is the simplest method for performing a soft reset. The battery is not necessarily in the front bonnet; it could also be in the rear boot, depending on the vehicle model. It is advisable to wear protective gloves before proceeding with the operation, and remember to have the radio code on hand if your device requires it when reconnecting the battery. Disconnect the negative terminal of the 12-volt battery, wait a few minutes, then reconnect the negative terminal. Start the engine and check if the hybrid system has reset. Alternatively, there is another method: turn off the vehicle's engine, locate the fuse box inside the engine compartment. By lifting the cover of the box, you will notice a large white service connector connected to the fuse box: remove it with a flat-head screwdriver, wait about ten minutes, and then reconnect it: turn on the vehicle's ignition without starting the engine. The hybrid system should be reset.
