In this guide, you will find instructions to reset the engine warning light on the Toyota Corolla. Before resetting the warning light, ensure the issue causing the light to illuminate has been resolved.

Open the bonnet and disconnect one of the battery terminals (positive or negative); leave the battery disconnected for about ten minutes to force a reset of the engine control unit. Reconnect the battery and check that the engine warning light has been reset.
