You can replace the tyre pressure sensors on a Toyota Prius by deflating the wheels and completely removing them from their housings. Once the wheel is deflated, detach the tyre from the rim to access the sensor installed on it. At this point, remove it by loosening the screws that secure it so you can insert the new replacement part. This can now be properly secured and connected, after which you can inflate and reinstall the wheel in question.
