Replace Car Stereo on Toyota Yaris

Is the car stereo damaged or do you simply want to replace it? Here’s how to remove the stereo on a second-generation Yaris. Remove the trim panel at the bottom of the stereo; use a plastic lever to detach it from the centre console (where the air conditioning knobs are located). Remove the trim pieces at the top of the stereo (the trims are all intact from top to bottom). Unscrew the securing screws with a screwdriver located at the sides of the stereo. Pull the stereo out by hand and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). If you are installing a non-original stereo, you will need to fit the appropriate adapters. Turn on the new stereo and check if it works.
