Removing the Steering Wheel on a Rav 4

Is the steering wheel of your car worn? Do you want to replace it? Remove the steering wheel and carry out the replacement. Disconnect the battery terminals in the engine bay. Unscrew the bolts located behind the plastic covers of the steering wheel. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large central bolt and remove the steering wheel from the steering column. Fit the new steering wheel onto the column and tighten the securing nut, then reconnect the airbag power connector and press the airbag back onto the steering wheel: tighten the securing bolts at the back of the steering wheel.
