Need to change the battery in the Yaris key? Here’s how to disassemble the key and replace the battery inside. Take your ignition key and use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves until they separate (there's a gap on the side to insert the screwdriver). Remove the battery cover, extract the old battery with a screwdriver, and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the key remote cover until you hear them click into place. Check the remote's functionality by testing the door lock and unlock buttons on the key.
