Oil and Filter Change on Toyota Rav4

Model: Toyota Rav 4 MK 3, Xa30 - Years 2006-2013

Lift the car with a jack (if you don't have a ramp). Unscrew the screw that secures the cover over the oil drain hole, and by doing this, you will access the bolt that acts as the plug for the hole. Collect the used oil in a container (and dispose of it properly). Similarly, open the cover for the oil filter, located near the previous one, remove the clip by unscrewing it slightly and pulling it with pliers, then unscrew the filter itself with the appropriate tool available online: this will remove the entire casing. Now replace the filter and close all the compartments. Fill with new oil through the upper hole in the bonnet.
