In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the transmission oil in the Toyota RAV4, a simple task if you have good manual skills. First, wait for the engine to be cold, then lift the car, remove the front left wheel along with the inner wheel arch cover. Next, locate and remove the drain plug to allow all the oil to drain from the gearbox. Proceed by removing the black cover, replacing the filter with the corresponding gasket, and adding the necessary amount of oil through the upper fill hole. You will also need the appropriate pump for this task.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
