How to Open the Fuel Cap on a Toyota Aygo

Model: Toyota Aygo Ab40, MK 2 - Years 2014-2023

Check the fuel level in the tank using the dedicated section on the instrument cluster. While seated in the driver's seat, look at the area on the lower left: beneath the various switches (like the mirror adjustment), you will notice a small lever. Simply pull this lever to unlock the fuel flap. At this point, you can easily open it and unscrew (anti-clockwise) the fuel cap to refuel. At the end of the procedure, screw the cap back on (clockwise) and close the flap, which will lock automatically. Quite simple!
