Operation: How to open fuel cap on Toyota Aygo

Check the fuel level in the tank using the appropriate section on the instrument panel. From the driver's seat, look at the area at the bottom left: under the various switches (such as the mirror adjustment switch) you will notice a small lever. Just pull this lever to unlock the fuel filler flap. At this point you can simply open it and unscrew (anticlockwise) the tank cap to refuel. At the end of the procedure, screw the cap back on (clockwise) and close the door, which will lock automatically. Quite simple!
