How to Replace the Key Battery of a Toyota Rav 4

Press the button located at the bottom section of the key of your Toyota Rav 4 to remove the physical emergency key. Next, using the emergency key as a lever, open the electronic key in two. Once done, remove the battery module to access the exhausted key battery. Proceed to extract the battery from its housing, using a flat screwdriver to assist. After completing this step, you can remove the battery, finishing the disassembly. To fit the new battery and close the key, simply follow these instructions in reverse, and the replacement will be complete.
