How to Change the Key Battery on a Toyota RAV 4

In this very short video tutorial, learn how to replace the key battery on a third-generation Toyota RAV 4, produced from 2006 to 2013. To replace the battery, first, open the key. Insert a small flathead screwdriver into a slot located at the bottom of the key, where the keyring loop is. Once inserted, gently twist it to apply pressure on the two halves of the remote to separate them. Now, by removing the internal keypad, you can access the old battery to be replaced. After replacing it, reassemble the remote by following the reverse procedure.
