How to change the battery inside the remote of a Toyota RAV 4? Here’s how to disassemble the key. Take your remote key and use a screwdriver to pry between the two parts of the plastic key cover. Pry until the plastics separate, then take the battery holder and open it. Remove the worn battery with a screwdriver and replace it. Reassemble the plastics of your remote by pressing them together until you hear a click. Check the correct functioning of the remote key with the buttons on it.
