Replacing the External Door Handle on a Toyota Yaris

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Before accessing the handle, remove the door panel. To do this, slightly unscrew the two lateral plastic screws and detach the clips they secure by prying with a plastic wedge. Remove the small screw cover near the internal handle and unscrew the underlying screw, then also unscrew the one in the armrest (remove the drawer). Disconnect the panel containing the window controls and unplug its connector. Remove the panel by gradually pulling it away from the door. Unscrew the screws of the handle inside the door and detach the metal pin, finally replace it and reassemble everything.
