Removing the Door Panel on a Toyota Yaris

Is the door panel on your Toyota Yaris in need of replacement? Here’s how to remove it. Disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay (if you need to cut wires). Remove the screw cover caps located above the door panel, then use a screwdriver to undo the screws in the upper door opening lever area, on the handle, and on the panel. Disconnect the window switch. Pull the panel away by hand and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Fit the new door cover panel, reconnect the terminals, and screw in the retaining screws.
