Removing the Starter Motor from a Toyota Verso

Remove the starter motor from a Toyota Verso if damaged. Open the bonnet and secure it. First, remove the plastic covers of the battery and engine, then disconnect the battery power cables. Access the starter motor and undo the securing bolts, disconnect the power terminals using pliers. Detach the unit from its housing and remove it from the engine bay. Install the new starter motor by connecting the power cables and securing it with the appropriate bolts. Reconnect the battery terminals.
