To replace the external door handle on a Toyota Corolla, remove the internal door panel: loosen the screw in the internal handle recess, remove the window knob, and loosen the screws located under the window switch panel. Once the panel is removed, shift the fabric cover to access the screws securing the handle from the inside. When all screws are loosened, extract the handle and the entire mechanism from the outside, replacing the parts.
