Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

Once you open the front bonnet, unclip the fastening clips of the air filter housing and move it aside: just below are the spark plug leads complete with ignition coils. Unscrew the fixing screws of the coils and pull the connector upwards; unscrew the spark plug and remove it from its seat; insert the new spark plug and screw it in without exceeding the tightening torque (if possible, use a torque wrench); then apply the connector, ensuring it fits perfectly onto the spark plug, and tighten the respective fixing screw; proceed in the same manner for replacing the other spark plugs.
