How to Change the Battery in a Toyota 4Runner

In this guide, you will learn how to replace the battery in a Toyota 4Runner. Start by opening the hood: you will find the battery on the right side of the engine compartment. Using an 11 mm wrench, disconnect the negative terminal cable. Repeat the same process for the positive terminal. Now, with a 10 mm wrench, remove the bracket that holds the battery in place. At this point, after detaching the metal hook as shown at minute 1:50, you can remove the battery. Insert the replacement battery, reposition the hook, and reattach the bracket. Finally, reconnect the cables to the terminals, starting with the positive one.
