In order to replace the Toyota Highlander air filter, you have to open the hood to access the engine compartment, in particular in the upper part immediately under the windshield on the driver's side. To open the box it will be necessary to loosen the fixing screws that block the cover: the latter can then be removed and the filter inside it can then be removed from its housing. Once the old filter has been removed it will then be possible to insert the new spare part and close the box again with its screws.
