The air filter in your Toyota Highlander is undoubtedly one of the most important and most wear-prone components. Its main function is to allow the engine to "breathe" optimally, so it is essential to replace it periodically.

Here’s how to do it. First, fully lift the front bonnet and locate the box containing the filter. Disconnect the electrical connector and undo all the screws holding the cover in place with a 10mm spanner.

Once done, simply remove the cover and proceed with replacing the filter.
