How to Replace the Engine Air Filter on the Toyota Highlander [UK]

Model: Toyota Highlander Xu40 - Years 2008-2013

To replace the engine air filter, open the bonnet by pulling the lever located under the dashboard on the driver's side near the door. Locate the cover containing the air filter, which is on the right side of the engine bay at the top. Remove the fixing screws of the cover using a socket spanner. Once all the fixing screws are removed, lift the cover to access the compartment containing the filter. Remove the filter and replace it with the new one (identify the suitable filter type for your vehicle, see the owner's manual). Refit the cover of the box containing the filter and tighten the fixing screws, then close the bonnet.
