Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel. Then, unscrew the lower caliper mounting bolt only and use the upper one as a hinge to rotate and lift the caliper, allowing you to extract the worn pads. Reposition the caliper and lever the piston back: it is suggested to use a C-clamp or a locking plier for this. Clean the system to eliminate dust residues; then insert the new pads after applying copper grease, reposition the caliper, and tighten the respective mounting bolt.
