Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008
Part: Brake pads
Operation: Replace the front brake pads

Replacing the brake pads is a fairly simple but delicate operation as the safety of the car can be compromised. Remove the wheel and unscrew the cylinder retaining nuts. Remove the cylinder assembly and remove the worn pads with a screwdriver, being careful not to scratch the brake disc. Clean the supports and refit the new pads by seating them correctly in the supports. With an extractor remove the cylinder and replace it with a new one. Reassemble the cylinder group, the caliper, re-fit the relative bolts and at this point we can reassemble the wheel.
