Replacing Front Brake Pads and Discs

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

Lift the vehicle and secure it. Remove the wheel and gently detach the caliper by removing the two retaining bolts with a ratchet spanner. Remove the worn pads and replace them with two new ones of the same type, cleaning any dirt with a brush before installation. Refit the bracket, cleaning and lubricating the fixing bolts, then tighten them with a spanner. Reattach the caliper. The pad with the electrical contacts must be mounted facing inwards, paying attention to the direction of travel. Realign the piston by pushing it inwards and check the adherence of the pads to the disc. Also check the brake fluid level.
