Replacement of Front Wheel Bolts

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

Lift the vehicle and secure it. Remove the wheel and carefully detach the caliper by removing the two retaining bolts with a ratchet spanner. Remove the brake pads that you will replace with two new ones of the same type, and before installation, clean any dirt with a brush. Extract the old bolts from the bracket and, if necessary, use a hammer. Refit the new bolts and then the bracket, cleaning and lubricating the fixing screws, then tighten them with a spanner. Reattach the caliper. The pad with the electrical contacts must be mounted facing inwards, paying attention to the direction of travel. Realign the piston by pushing it inwards and check the adherence of the pads to the disc. Also, check the brake fluid level.
