Replacing Front Brake Pads and Disc

Model: Toyota Avensis T250, MK 2 - Years 2003-2008

To replace the brake pads and disc, first remove the wheel and lift the vehicle according to safety regulations. Next, unscrew the two bolts to remove the brake caliper, which you will tie with a rope to allow for the disassembly of other components. Using a tool, pry out the brake pads. Unscrew the two bolts and remove the pad support. To remove the brake disc, screw in a bolt that will push against the wheel hub until the disc is freed. Now apply sufficient pressure and retract the brake caliper piston. Clean all components thoroughly, applying the appropriate paste or grease where necessary. Position the new disc and then secure the support, applying thread-locking fluid to the bolts. Apply the special paste to the pads (only on the outer side, not on the side in contact with the disc), insert them into their housing, and reattach the brake caliper, tightening the bolts to the manufacturer's specified values. Press the brake pedal several times and check the brake fluid level in the reservoir. Car model: Toyota Avensis
