Start by ensuring the key is not in the ignition, then open the bonnet and remove the two nuts securing the upper bracket. Next, starting with the negative terminal, loosen the nuts on both terminals and disconnect them.

Now you can remove the old battery and install the replacement, following the reverse procedure and reconnecting the positive terminal first.
