Model: Toyota Tacoma N150, N190, N140, N160, N170 - Years 1995-2004
Part: Tail light

This guide shows how to replace the brake lights on the Toyota Tacoma Mk1. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws securing the rear light assembly; be careful not to damage the electrical connections. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector by prying up the locking tab. Using a small flathead screwdriver or a trim removal tool, pry around the edge of the lens to separate it from the socket. Now you can remove the brake bulb by pushing it in and turning it counterclockwise. After replacing the bulb, reassemble everything and check the operation of the light.
