Removing the Steering Wheel and Airbag from the Toyota Avensis

Today, this brief and simple guide will show you the steps to remove and replace the steering wheel and its airbag on the Toyota Avensis. First, get inside the vehicle and start unscrewing the screws located behind the steering wheel using a T30 Torx key. Then, remove the airbag by disconnecting its electrical connector, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the central bolt of the steering wheel to remove it and replace it with the new one (disconnecting the steering controls cables); finally, proceed to reassemble the airbag and the steering wheel!
