Toyota Yaris - Video tutorial

Model: Toyota Yaris MK 4 - Years 2020-2024
Part: Timing belt
Operation: When to change the timing chain of the Toyota Yaris?

The timing belt, sometimes incorrectly called the drive belt, causes the valves to open and close in a synchronized manner with the engine, so each valve opens and closes exactly when. It is a toothed belt that turns the camshaft of the engine. The estimated duration of the distribution chain is 250,000 kilometers or every 5/6 years of use. In fact, we must highlight the fact that the car is equipped with a timing chain and not a belt, so the life of the chain is much longer than the rubber belt even if it is a little noisier.
