How to Quickly Replace the Key Battery of the Toyota Highlander

Replacing your car key battery is one of the simplest and quickest tasks to do. First, locate the "push" label on the side of the cover and remove the physical key from its compartment. Use the same key to lever slightly in the hole and, pushing upwards, detach the two parts of the plastic cover. Lift and turn the electronic component upside down. Remove the used button battery and replace it with a new one. Now, simply reposition the electronic part in the correct orientation and close the cover. Finally, reinsert the physical key back inside.
