To replace the remote control battery for the Toyota Highlander, slide the key out from the bottom of the device by lowering the corresponding lever: once this is done, you can remove the key and leverage it in its housing. This will allow you to open the remote control and access the battery inside; the old battery must be removed from its seat to be replaced with a new one. After inserting the new battery, close the remote control and check its functionality.
