How to Replace the Battery in a Toyota Corolla

Before you start replacing the battery in your car, remember that this operation must be done with the engine off for safety reasons. Wear rubber gloves, unlock the front bonnet, and lift it fully. Locate the battery and, using a 10 mm spanner, remove the two terminals, starting with the negative one. The positive terminal usually has a red cover, while the negative is black. Using the same spanner, unscrew the two screws holding the safety block and remove it. Now, simply take out the old battery and replace it with the new one. Reattach the two terminals and the safety block correctly. Finally, close the bonnet.
